Carter co-founded Wheelhouse after spending the previous six years as Vice President, Digital at J&A, an integrated agency in Nashville.
Carter helped direct the digital marketing strategy for more than 20 clients at J&A, including Circle K, Cogent HMG, KFC co-ops, Nashville Sports Council, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans. He previously spent nine years in the National Football League, most recently as the Director of Internet Services & Publications for the Houston Texans. He also worked in media relations for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans, Green Bay Packers and Arizona State University.
A native of Alexandria, Va., Carter graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
